Distance Has No Consequence

Distance Has No Consequence was the second stage project, and later exhibition, completed during my MA studies.

The work looked at the day to day activities during time spent with my partner, with whom I am in a medium distance relationship (myself in Doncaster, Julien in Greenwich, London).

The photographs were taken in mid-to-late 2019 across a variety of locations and were later installed at Markeaton Street campus, University of Derby in a style reminiscent of a family photo wall.

The work was taken on a mixture of medium format film, 4x5 film and two types of instant film (Polaroid SX-70 and Fujifilm Instax Mini).
